Life is already hard enough

Let me help lighten the load

Hi, I’m Kayla

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

I am passionate about helping teens, kiddos, parenting, and individuals. Teenage years are such a tough time filled with transition, more expectations, finding ones own identity, preparing for adulting, and trying to figure out what all this means together. Other topics I have worked with extensively across all age ranges is anxiety, transitions, stress, self esteem, communication, mindfulness and using coping skills.

My style is more ecletic with pulling parts from different modalities, but I use mainly CBT, mindfulness, and developmentally appropriateness within a strengths based holistic approach.

No one should have to go through their journey alone or ever feel like they are not enough. I will be honored to get to be by your side in this journey and help the little voice in your head be your best cheerleader and gentlest friend.

Transitions and Teens

Life is tough as a teen. Middle school and high school are stressful on top of so many changes and newness. Having someone be with you through that time can really make a difference and help it feel less overwhelming.

Anxiety

Constantly worried? Stressed over things out of your control to the point they are taking over your thoughts? Life does not have to be this way with anxiety in the driver’s seat. Take back your life and learn how to quiet the anxious thoughts.

Self Worth

Society pushes us to focus on all the things we are not. It’s easy to find all our faults and where we lack, but this does not create happiness or push us to be better. It breaks us down and doesn’t allow us to live our happiest lives. We are enough, as we are in this moment.

“Worthiness doesn't have prerequisites.”
